Our Story
The Sierra Group story begins in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Starting in 2017 behind our garage with just a 1993 Chevrolet Dump Truck, we've grown significantly since our humble beginnings.
Our first employee joined us in 2019, marking the start of our journey towards expansion. By focusing on customer service, we rapidly evolved, moving into an 11,000 sq/ft showroom office by 2020.
This growth enabled us to undertake high-profile projects. In 2022, we transitioned to our current 35,000 sq/ft headquarters, now home to 25 dedicated full-time employees.

Founder & CEO
Marcos, the founder and owner of Sierra Group Roofing and Solar, transitioned from a nine-year career in property management to entrepreneurship. Embracing risk and overcoming financial challenges, he established the company to build a self-sufficient life for his family. His hard work and dedication have led to significant achievements, yet he believes this is just the beginning of his journey with Sierra Group.

Victoria
Head Personnel of Human Resources
Former nurse Victoria took a bold step in 2016, transitioning from healthcare to co-managing Sierra Group Roofing and Solar with her husband. Without prior business or roofing experience, she quickly adapted, learning the industry intricacies. Today, Victoria excels as the co-owner, managing accounting and human resources, showcasing her growth and adaptability in our company.
Yolanda
Head of Operations
Yolanda, the Head of Operations at Sierra Group for three years, transitioned from waiting tables to managing six roofing teams. Without prior experience in roofing, she quickly mastered the field, becoming proficient in its various aspects. She values the opportunity to lead at Sierra Group and appreciates the autonomy and satisfaction that come with being her own boss.
